i got my official gre scores today, fucking finally. i kicked complete ass in the analytical writing section. three cheers.

just spent an hour & a half filling out the harvard application online. wtf do they need to know all that shit? they ask three times as many questions as all the other schools. oh harvard. fuck you for having the only program in my wonderful city that is even remotely good for my project.

i am about to send my dad & stepmom a thank-you note for holiday gifts (hurrah for polite southern upbringing). i am including pictures of nimmy & me, including one photobooth strip that has a frame of us smooching. poor dad. hang in there, dad.

listening to magnetic fields holiday, early missy elliot, & the talib kweli/mos def album that i splurged on today for myself. on my way home now to make tofu-veggie-cashew stirfry & cuddle up in my new fleece blanket. ahhhh, vacation.

yaaay on good GRE scores!

and yeah, harvard is a bitch. they do the same thing with filling out the undergrad application, as well as the renewal app every year for financial aid. why? the answer is always: because they're harvard.

i can't wait to hang out w/you again soon. i just (!) developed pictures from this summer and there are some super awesome ones of you + our whole crew. yes.
