question for folks in the boston area: do any of you know of a local non-profit type organization that might want a very basic desktop computer? it is old, running windows 95, & can't do much beyond basic internet access, word processing, etc, but is in good condition. it has a ton of software, just very old versions. also a decent monitor, keyboard & basic mouse. i am looking to donate this if at all possible. it will be available by mid-march. post here or email me if you have leads.

also if anyone knows how to clean off a hard drive so it's suitable for donating (i.e., i want to wipe out all of my documents & any personal items on this before i give it away) please give me instructions. thanks.

the disturbing dreams have started up again. wtf? i hate my subconscious.

last night i made lo mein & for the first time ever it turned out great. the leftovers are delicious as well. carrots, celery, snow peas, garlic, bok choy, straw mushrooms. next time i will add baby corn & bamboo shoots. yum.
