Date: 2003-03-25 08:52 am (UTC)They do offer housing there, but I think it is like flopping in dorm lounges. I would offer for you to stay at my apartment, but you would probably only want to in a pinch, because it is kind of a drive and often kind of crowded and stressful to boot.

I should be getting to Amherst around noon or so on Friday in a big OSU van with six other kids, which I will have driven for like 12 hours, so I might be a little road weary, but regardless, we still gotta hang. I'm sure I'll probably see you around -- I'm not exactly hard to spot -- but if you want my cell number or anything, juzz e-mail me. If we don't end up seeing each other, I know I'll definitely be at Sadie's panel which is on Saturday @ 3:15pm, or something.
AND I KNOW YOU GOT A ZINE FOR ME.

Date: 2003-03-25 08:56 pm (UTC)re: sleeping arrangements, i registered with the conference like last week, and from what i understand they put you in a dorm lobby with your sleeping bag and are all like, "go for it," so I guess that's what I'm going to do, against my better judgement (i.e., i'm hoping they're not gonna be like THIS IS A WOMYN-ONLY DORM SO YOU AND YOUR PENIS WILL HAVE TO GO SOMEPLACE ELSE PLEASE THANKS BYE), which leads me to
re: Bitch+Animal are playing a show in Easthampton, fourteen miles away, the Friday evening (4/4) of the convention. i will have access to the keys to a big white ten-passenger OSU van and i think i'm gonna round up a buncha folks to drive out there to MWMF-policy outreach 'em. Are you in or are you out?
