dear body,
stop betraying me. please.

dear certain people who should know better,
please pay attention to how you talk about me. geez. thanks.

dear weekly dig,
i know i wasn't the only person to write a letter about that bitch&animal article from last week. i'm worried that you picked my letter to print because it was the most conciliatory & palatable. i feel weird about it.

dear dennis kucinich,
i like what you've been saying. don't fuck up, okay?

xo me.

Thanks for the Kucinich link. I could live with this. That's assuming I survive the current administration.

i know they didn't print my letter 'cause it was so long. since i write for the dig i'm hoping to make my letter into a larger piece on transphobia and how i (and others) fight it in my (our) community.

p.s. i just read your letter. i don't think it's conciliatory at all. i think it's very succinct & well-written.

i do volunteer at pbp. they take any and all books. what's most needed ('cause it gets asked for most often): sat and ged books, books about mexican-america and african-american history & culture, dictionaries, and true-crime-esque fiction. but really, everything everything is good.
