subjective | (no subject)

construction is being done on the roof of my building this week. it sounds like an avalanche up there.

today on campus i saw a girl wearing a little tank top & hair-knots. i felt a pang in my heart, missing laura. i also saw a small child wearing shorts with vertical stripes, a shirt with horizontal stripes, & a long black cape. as i passed him on the sidewalk he was talking about how much he loves elevators.

i look six years old on my student i.d. card. it rules that it says "graduate student" right next to a photo of a tiny child. (taryn i hope you did not delete the one & only photo of me in which i look older than thirteen.)
