come back, goodenergycore.

crankypants:

no alone time in approximately five days & i am feeling the strain.

a party last night at which:
i was the only non-grad student & one of two non-science geeks.
i realized again the extent to which i do not pass.
my old name was used.
"why do people have to be so political?"

work which consists of data entry, deposits, & filing, every day, all day. for nearly two years now.

application info for grad school that requests name & gender (check one of two boxes) on the first page. also, the realization that i have only one academic reference at this point. and that i probably screwed up future schooling endeavors by unceremoniously dropping out of library school & making absolutely no connections there.

losing four hours of data entry work by accidentally deleting it about five minutes ago.

fuck this.

i'm sorry for the crankiness & the loss of 4 hours of work. i'd do it for you if i could. and i'd get rid of the check box too. if only i had powers! but i only have white out. :(

what if you lined out the check box and wrote in, "check this, motherfuckers!" yeah. i think that's the way to go.

i'm gonna call you now.

hey it's kathryn. didn't you have good talks with a couple of professors before leaving ne-tern? or at least one? i don't think i'd call that unceremonious... my dropping out experience was more bridgeburning. maybe you should see if that prof is still there?

luck kiddo..
