hi, i don't know you! but! i can comment a little bit about geography of the places and the general atmosphere.
uc davis is in the middle of nowhere. great agricultural studies! :l it's a good school. but yeah, middle of nowhere.
uc santa cruz-read above. BUT it is a very liberal, open-minded, accepting campus. lots of "artsy" people. but it is in the middle of nowhere. my friend couldn't hang with its location, so she dropped out and went to ucla, heh.
uc berkeley: definitely a lot of extremes going on there. liberal campus in terms of politics and a lot of good resources, awesome campus, good public transportation and general location is close enough to a lot of things to do, but it's a very expensive area and definitely a bit of an elitist attitude hangs over everything, including the faculty. like, oh, do you KNOW you're at berkeley? and a friend of mine who happens to be a guy almost dropped out the first semester because he said everything felt so, "are you in a fraternity? no? thanks, but go away." BUT, he eventually found his niche and has loved it, especially his classes. now i think he's in mexico studying for six months. they have a lot of available programs that could definitely make it worth any bs that comes with it. just about asnything youd want to specialize in, theyll have specialists to help you. very competitive.
