i think i did a good job in choosing my initials.

takin' care of business:
i am so action me this week. i have drafted my personal statement & it is being edited by four people whose writing & critical thinking skills i admire. tonight i am editing my writing sample. i took a diagnostic test for the gre and, motivated by the fear that instilled in me, have been studying at least two hours every night. over the past week i have been very honest & articulate in discussing political issues, both personally & professionally.

if you don't hear from me or see me for a few weeks, it's because my life is on fuckin' fast-forward these days. i feel motivated & purposeful & so effing excited about the possibilities.

so there.

tcb = takin' care of business. also my initials, on purpose. the c stands for cason, it's a family name. gordon, i'm not applying to santa cruz, but you might wind up seeing me in davis next year. (or more likely, i'd see you when i was in the city!) thanks for the good thoughts, everyone!

if you don't reply directly to their comments they won't know you've replied. just sayin'.

and what's this talk of not seeing you for weeks? i hope that doesn't apply to hoc crew. because if it does i know where you live and i will just show up there and demand to be let in and hugged. no really, don't disappear now. remember, you need to feed me!! i'll waste away without you. can you actually live knowing i wasted away without you? no, not at all.

i know but i don't like putting in a ton of comments, i like to combine them.

um, & i got a LOT done this week so things should be less stressful. though i have to keep studying hard for the gre, which is the day after thanksgiving (eww). but i will be cooking for yer dad tomorrow night. jambalaya, greens, garlic-roasted potatoes, & bread. okay? xo.
