this fucking amazes me. united for peace & justice filed a federal lawsuit against the city of new york for its refusal to issue a march permit for the anti-war rally scheduled for february 15.

what's up?
i've been reading you for awhile, since your old lj really (i found you through jen, oblivionjen i mean).
lately i've been interested in reading up on transgendered issues & lives, but i don't know where to start besides livejournal communities.
are there any books you can recommend, just basic ones covering main issues/ideas/politics/etc? i have a bit of a social science background, so i'd prefer something more social science than biology.
