packed so far:
folders from filing cabinet.
all but a handful of books.
all music except records.

please advise on how to pack records for safe shipping. the boxes will not be thrown around, but i'm still worried. i have lp's & 7"s & don't know what to do with them. i don't think i have enough of either to fill a box snugly.

i have a pile of cassette tapes from high school that i don't want but am too embarrassed about to list. what should i do with them?

depending on how many lp's you have, i might be able to pack them in a ups size large box (with lots of bubblewrap) and send them via ups overnight (for free, obviously). failing that, i say lots and lots of bubble wrap or crumpled paper to keep them from shifting. also, with this heat, i'd worry about melting (hence why i think overnight would be a good idea).

If you don't want the tapes, I think you could record over them with good stuff! Just put a piece of tape over the write-protect holes on the top, and it should work.
