boring update.

the movers came. i had 31 boxes, two bags, a poster tube, a mattress & bed rails, all of which left with them on the truck. i was supposed to have a box spring on that truck too but they couldn't get it down the stairs (this was unsurprising to me) which is something i have to discuss with my landlord very soon. ugh. my things weighed 646 lbs. & are currently shrink-wrapped together & traveling across the country.

i just shipped 8 huge boxes of books/zines by media mail. media mail rocks my socks. i also shipped most of the books people claimed a while ago-- riley, jenny, kannan, aurora, lizzy, yours are on the way. ericka, soraya, kelli & caitlin, yours are going out tomorrow. also moira i'm sending your shirt tomorrow.

i still have to arrange for someone to pick up the computer stuff i'm donating, close my bank account, & ship my records. and clean the apt. but the worst is over, i think.

no, i lied. the worst by far is saying goodbyes. i've only done one so far & it was heart-wrenching. :**

ps. frieda is all well again, & is livin' it up because due to the extractions, she can only eat wet food for a week. she is getting very spoiled. purr.

you sound like yr taking this whole moving thing really well. then again, this is just lj which doesn't mean much i guess. i just moved a month ago and even though i was happy about it, i was so stressed i could hardly think straight (actually i'm still going through those feelings, heh).
