(setting: i sent riley a draft article for my new zine & he was giving feedback.)

riles: but reading it again, i think some of it might be personality differences, or like differences in writing styles.

tobes: such as what?

riles: well, like where you would phrase something as a question, i would phrase it as a declarative statement.

tobes: haha. that is so indicative of personalities, you're right.

riles: like the way you write is more, i dunno, explorative? inquisitive maybe? and i'm just like, "this is how it is."

tobes: i'm, like, NEVER "this is how it is."

riles: heh, i know. sometimes i am too much like that for my own good.

tobes: well actually i also wrote another article tonight on the south & how pissed off i am when non-southerners talk shit on the south (esp politically). it is pretty much "this is how it is." also it is kind of "check yourself NOW."
