Date: 2003-01-27 09:56 am (UTC)But I had some conversations with David Halperin (whee!) at the conference this weekend that gave me some ideas that might be useful for talking about this, once I do some research... short version: I think the gay thinkers of the 1960s and 70s may have a lot more to say about this than I'd thought. I just have to dig up some sources.
And i think i'm going to start looking at American Studies/Civilization or History programs. I am such a geek.
